TotalASO is designed with privacy at its core. We believe your app data, metadata, and business information belong to you. The Software operates primarily on your local device, and we do not collect, store, or have access to your App Store Connect data.

Information We Do NOT Collect

We do not collect or have access to:

• Your App Store Connect credentials or Apple ID
• Your app metadata, keywords, descriptions, or screenshots
• Your pricing information, subscription data, or revenue figures
• Your AI API keys (BYOK - Bring Your Own Key)
• Any content processed by AI features
• Your usage patterns within the Software

Local Data Storage

All your data is stored locally on your macOS device:

• App Store Connect Credentials: Stored securely in your macOS Keychain, encrypted by the operating system
• App Metadata: Cached locally for offline access and performance
• AI API Keys: Stored in your macOS Keychain, never transmitted to our servers
• Preferences and Settings: Stored locally in application support files
• Change History: Maintained locally for your reference

Information We May Collect

We may collect limited information for the following purposes:

License Verification

When you activate your license, we verify your license key against our licensing server. This process may include:

• License key validation
• Machine identifier (anonymized)
• Software version

Purchase Information

If you purchase directly from us, we collect:

• Email address (for license delivery and support)
• Payment information (processed by our payment provider)
• Purchase date and transaction ID

Support Communications

If you contact us for support, we retain your communication and any information you provide to assist you.

Third-Party Services

TotalASO integrates with third-party services. Your use of these services is subject to their respective privacy policies:

App Store Connect

The Software connects directly to Apple's App Store Connect API using your credentials. All communication occurs directly between your device and Apple's servers. We never see or store your Apple credentials or app data.

AI Providers (BYOK)

When using AI features, your data is sent directly to your chosen AI provider using your own API key. We do not proxy, log, or store any AI requests or responses. Supported providers include OpenAI, Anthropic, and other services via OpenRouter.

Ollama (Local AI)

If you use Ollama for local AI processing, all processing occurs entirely on your device. No data leaves your machine.

Data Security

We implement appropriate security measures to protect any information we do collect:

• All communications with our servers use TLS encryption
• License verification uses secure, anonymized identifiers
• We do not store sensitive credentials or app data on our servers
• Payment processing is handled by PCI-compliant payment providers

Data Retention

Local Data: Data stored on your device remains there until you delete it or uninstall the Software. We have no access to or control over locally stored data.

Purchase Records: We retain purchase and license records for as long as necessary to provide you with support and license verification, or as required by law.

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information:

• Access: Request information about any personal data we hold
• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate information
• Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data
